Before you sign up you'll need
- your own mobile, tablet or WiFi modem that you can use with OVO
- to choose from our OVO Mobile, OVO Data (data only) or OVO Mobile Broadband
- your VISA or Mastercard to hand
Sign up can be done in 3 simple steps - we don't ask you any questions that don't genuinely help us to deliver an amazing experience with OVO.
Set up a user name and choose a plan
You need to let us know who you are - that's easiest done by using something like your Facebook identity (user name) or you can set yourself up using your email and password.
Let us know where you'd like your SIM card sent
With OVO you'll get a new SIM card. In this step you'll need to let us know where to deliver that.
Note: Our SIM cards are multi-fit so you'll be able to use them on any device that takes a SIM - you just need to carefully push out the correct sized SIM (nano, micro or mini / regular).
Confirm and pay
When you've done that you'll be asked to confirm what you've chosen and provide your credit card info. That's important because we use your credit card info to recharge your OVO service every 30 days.
Lastly, look things over. Make sure everything is good-to-go and make sure you agree to our terms. We've tried to put these in real words, but if you want to look things over in detail, the lawyers full version can be found here.
Once you've hit confirm you'll receive an email letting you know that we've received your order. Then you'll need to sit tight and wait for your OVO SIM card to arrive.
Note: You'll notice that $1 shows up on your credit card statement. This isn't actually a charge - it's our bank 'preauthorising' your credit card by freezing $1 to confirm that your credit card is legit. This is frozen for up to 9 days and then released back to you.
